Matt was born July 8, 1973 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He does a variety of legal work including criminal, traffic, personal injury and domestic cases. Matt began his law practice in Tarboro, NC in January, 2006. In his off time, Matt enjoys oil and acrylic painting and reading.
Professional Affiliations: Matt is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Jack Hopkins was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 2, 1933. He is currently retired from the active practice; however, is available on a continuing consultation basis as "Of Counsel" to Hopkins and Geoffrion, Attorneys PLLC, Tarboro, North Carolina. Jack primarily had been involved in trial practice in the areas of torts, family law and criminal defense and mediation.

Teresa was born December 20, 1953 at Fort Lee Virginia. Teresa grew up traveling in different states and went as far as Germany due to her father was in the Army. Teresa came to live in Tarboro when she was in Jr. High School due to her Dad retired from the service. Teresa grew up in Tarboro and went to work with Edgecombe Co. DSS in 1976 where she remained until July 1, 2006. Teresa has 23 years of experience working in the Child Support Enforcement Unit at Edgecombe Co. DSS and she has attended Conferences and Workshops pertaining to the legal matters concerning Child Support. Teresa has three children a son Donovan, two daughters Jennifer and Mary Beth and two grandchildren Jessie and Jackson.
Teresa loves to spend time with her grandchilden, sewing and monograms items for her family, painting, and working in the yard.

Janet was born August 24, 1983 in Los Angeles, CA. Janet has two sisters and two brothers and grew up speaking both Spanish and English. She was raised primarily in Rocky Mount, NC, where she still resides with her husband, Sergio Paredes, and their son, Brandon. She has done a variety of food service and office work before joining Hopkins & Geoffrion in August of 2009, where she is a valuable asset. She enjoys sports, art, photography, and being a mother.
